Summary of Role
 

As a Marketing Intern, you will play a supporting role in executing our brand's presence and gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing. From developing brand assets, assisting with campaigns, and aligning brand standards, you'll gain practical skills while contributing to our marketing success. 
 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across various channels to support the overall marketing strategy and goals. 

  • Create engaging and relevant content for different marketing materials, such as social media updates, emails, videos, and more. 

  • Help analyze marketing data and metrics to evaluate campaign performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies. 

  • Learn and implement basic SEO strategies to improve the website’s search engine ranking and increase organic traffic. 

  • Contribute to building and maintaining a strong brand identity across marketing materials and touchpoints. 

  • Support lead generation efforts by assisting with various campaigns and optimizing conversion rates. 

  • Assist with online advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads) and track their performance. 

  • Collaborate on online reputation management initiatives by monitoring metrics and proposing strategies for improvement. 

  • Help prepare marketing materials for Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions using standard templates. 

  • Provide support in coordinating and executing events, including company gatherings and community groundbreakings. 

  • Monitor marketing inventory and coordinate with vendors to maintain brand standards. 

  • Assist with budget tracking and expense management for marketing activities. 

  • Help maintain and organize marketing files in SharePoint and update the corporate intranet as needed. 

  • Assist with updates to the corporate website and the company webstore. 

  • Serve as a point of contact for webstore inquiries, ensuring product offerings align with brand standards. 

  • Support onboarding marketing initiatives for new property assets. 
     

Qualifications and Experience

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, business, communications, or a related field. 

  • Coursework or prior experience in social media content creation, graphic design, and/or digital marketing tools is a plus.

Competencies and Skills:  

  • Computer Proficiency: Technology savvy; Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; competency in Adobe Suite (illustrator and photoshop) and Canva. Interest in content creation and graphic design tools. 

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for collaboration and content creation. 

  • Planning & Organizing: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
