Your New Role…
The Publicity Coordinator is responsible for assisting with aspects of publicity and social media related to television series produced by the divisions of Warner Bros. Television Group . This role will delve deep into the worlds of scripted, unscripted and animation titles by providing support for key publicity and communications initiatives, creating and curating content digitally including live event coverage, analytics reporting, analytics reporting, and publishing of Warner Bros. Television Social Media accounts based on current priorities. This role is a fast-paced and requires strong copywriting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to track industry trends. The ideal candidate will have passion for TV publicity, have a keen understanding of digital engagement strategies, and able to anticipate content performance across various social platforms.
Your Role Accountabilities…

Assists VP, WWTV Publicity and Executive Director, Social Media in an extremely busy TV studio publicity department. Answers phones, manages calendars, coordinates and sets up conference calls, processes and submits expense reports, general filing. Coordinates and books travel for talent, including airfare, transportation, hotel, and per diem. Works closely with operations to traffic invoices and ensure payments. Performs other administrative duties as assigned.

Manage the Warner Bros. TV Social Media handles across multiple platforms; ideating, scheduling and posting content; copy editing; and engaging with our online community.

Attend and capture events for us to catalog, celebrate, and share our accomplishments as a department and company as well as conduct interviews with talent, ideating questions and video concepts for us to capture and share

Compile reports on our social performance, analyzing our content to decipher what our audiences respond to best

Works with department to monitor daily media by conducting news searches of assigned series to find all coverage, including major features, breaking news, casting news, highlights, roundup stories, reviews, recaps, etc. As needed, helps other departmental assistants with reading of daily, weekly, and monthly publications for news clipping, and assists with distribution of internal entertainment and/or industry news summaries.

Supports team with coordinating certain logistical and planning aspects of publicity events.

Conduct research into both our IP and the evolving social media landscape

Performs additional related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience…
Work Experience
Minimum 2+ years of entertainment publicity or digital marketing experience required
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
- College degree or equivalent work experience required
Knowledge/Skills

Must have passion for and general understanding of entertainment industry.

Comprehensive knowledge of entertainment industry required.

Experience effectively working with and successfully building positive relationships with high-profile on-camera talent and producers.

Must have strong understanding of social media and be an active participant on leading platforms.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet required.

Proficiency with remote working technology (Teams, WebEx, Zoom, Google Hangout, etc.) required.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.

Must be well organized.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $38,511.00 - $71,521.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
