Lead design and set design direction for iOS, Android, and React Native applications designed for in-club products. Drive multi-channel and omni commerce user experience strategy and innovation and contribute to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through successful delivery of product designs. Create interactive prototypes, specification documentation, wireframes, and style guides using Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, Zeplin, Abstract, Principle, Framer, and Miro. Collaborate with product managers, operations teams, and engineering teams to understand users and business needs to create and test information architectures and concepts through low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes. Apply visual design principles and accessibility guidelines to ensure usable and delightful interfaces. Create and maintain local design system patterns and libraries. Identify and design high-value, platform-level patterns, and components to be used across Walmart’s suite of products. Leverage user centered design frameworks such as the Jobs-To-Be-Done Framework, Personas, Effects Maps, Focus Groups, Card Sorting, Empathy Maps, Heuristic Evaluations, Journey Maps, and Service Design Blueprints to drive cross team alignment. Define and set user research needs and plan for product and design discovery. Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, concept testing, usability testing, and remote testing. Analyze research data and document insights via User Experience Maps, Service Blueprints, and research insight presentations. Identify the need for analysis of customer and associate behavior changes and track using Tableau, Medallia, Opinion Labs, and Quantum Metrics. Conduct competitor audits to understand the state-of-art technologies and design patterns and to create baselines in design strategy. Apply and develop new approaches to design based on industry best practices, including agile and lean product development methodologies, design sprints, and design thinking workshops. Use JIRA, Confluence, and Airtable for collaboration. This position does not supervise employees. Minimum education and experience required:

Master's degree or the equivalent in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Product Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or related area and 1 year of experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area;

OR

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Product Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or related area and 3 years of experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Skills required:

Experience with interaction design across multiple channels, including web, mobile, and desktop, and across different operating systems, including iOS and Android. Experience creating usable Visual Interfaces (UI) by leveraging knowledge of typography, color theory, layout design, iconography, and illustration design. Experience conceptualizing the product architecture and user flows through storyboarding, data flow diagrams, sitemaps, service blueprints, and wireframes. Experience with contextual inquiries, focus groups, ethnography and field observations, user feedback surveys, usability testing, card sorting, and participatory design. Experience creating research artifacts, including personas, user experience maps, and affinity maps. Experience executing competitor analysis and market research, including conducting competitor audits across competitor products, general websites, and mobile apps, and analyzing emerging trends in product and design. Experience conducting quantitative research and quantitative data analysis using Tableau, Quantum Metrics, and Google Analytics. Experience creating, auditing, and documenting user interface guidelines and usage patterns for design components across multiple platforms. Experience ensuring User Interface (UI) standards and accessibility are adhered to by liaising with product designers, engineers, and stakeholders. Experience framing design strategies taking into consideration user needs, business needs, and product requirements. Experience validating and prioritizing user problems, creating effort vs. impact matrices, and defining success metrics. Experience conducting design sprints and design thinking workshops following lean and agile methodologies. Experience with one of the following collaborating tools: JIRA, Confluence, Airtable, and Notion.

Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. Salary Range:

$125,653/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives. Benefits:
