System Designer for Range & Consumption
Stellantis, Auburn Hills, Michigan, United States, 48326
The System Designer for Range & Consumption is responsible for:
Leading the evaluation of energy consumption, acceleration performance, capability (e.g. trailer tow) and drivability for new electrified powertrains and vehicles using computer modeling techniques and test data analysis
The System Designer analyzes architectures and concepts to achieve functional requirements
Creating models to analyze the performance of these concepts relative to requirements
Conducting first principles analysis, development of detailed models, simulation using these models, analysis of the simulation results and draws conclusions from the simulation
Communicating the results in oral presentations and written reports to Chief Engineers, COEs, Component Engineers and others including Propulsion Systems management
