Overview

We’re looking for an Executive Creative Director, Social Video who can dream up, produce, and refine video content that captivates audiences and delivers tangible results across both Paid Advertising and Organic. You’ll work cross-functionally with Production, Marketing, and Strategy teams to bring big ideas to life—from concept to final edit—while continuously optimizing for performance metrics like engagement, view-through rates, conversions, and beyond.


Key Responsibilities

Set the Creative Vision

  • Establish a clear, cohesive direction for social video content that delivers conversion results
  • Leverage audience insights, creative trends, and data to craft compelling narratives.


Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Partner with Production, Marketing, and Strategy to shape project scope, budgets, and objectives.
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions, provide creative input, and ensure timely delivery of all assets.


Lead Production & Quality Control

  • Guide storyboarding, scripting, and on-set production to uphold creative consistency.
  • Collaborating with production and post-production to ensure final content meets high standards and platform best practices.


Drive Measurable Performance

  • Implement a test-and-learn mindset, iterating on creative elements based on real-time data.
  • Collaborate with analytics and strategy partners to refine content for maximum conversions.


Mentor & Inspire

  • Manage and coach a small team of junior creative directors and external freelancers.
  • Hire and expand the Creative department over time.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, creative risk-taking, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: Track record of producing social video content that achieves measurable success (e.g., conversions, social channel growth or brand lift).
  • Creative Leadership: Strong ability to develop compelling concepts, provide direction, and guide cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Technical Know-How: Familiarity with video production, editing tools (Premiere, After Effects), and platform-specific best practices (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Comfort interpreting analytics and iterating creative based on insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and storytelling abilities, with a flair for pitching ideas and receiving feedback.
