We are seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer to join our team and work on our high-end residential projects at Workshop/APD. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in all phases of the interior design process, with a strong portfolio of completed residential projects. We are looking for a gifted designer who is highly organized and capable of managing, envisioning, and executing different aspects of a project.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Curate and source furniture, lighting, fabrics, and finishes.
- Update and maintain detailed furniture plans in AutoCAD.
- Create and update rendered elevations in AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with Design Managers to prepare client presentations.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and day-to-day project needs and expectations ensuring smooth execution and exceeding client expectations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite (Studio Webware experience is a plus).
- A passionate, self-motivated, and creative designer with a strong eye for detail.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Has the ability to manage junior team members and communicate effectively with senior staff.
Position Requirements
- A professional degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of proven experience in high-end residential design with a portfolio that showcases your work and specific role in completed projects.
- Willingness to travel and actively contribute to installations on-site.
- This role will exclusively work on high-end residential projects.
