Lepley Recruiting Services is partnering with a well-established and highly respected stone and tile company is seeking a full-time, in-house Stone & Tile Sales Designer to engage with architects, designers, and contractors in their showroom.

The company specializes in curating high-quality materials for homeowners and industry professionals, helping them create stunning interiors and exteriors. This role requires a high-energy individual with a passion for high-end residential design, strong technical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with interior designers, architects, contractors, and homeowners to assist with the stone and tile selection process.
  • Provide expert guidance on materials suited for various applications, including flooring, steam showers, pools, and more.
  • Assist walk-in clientele as part of a rotating showroom schedule.
  • Generate quotes and invoices, ensuring appropriate trade discounts.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timely follow-ups.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track client relationships and project progress.
  • Present monthly projected sales in pipeline meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team on large-scale projects.
  • Stay up to date on product offerings, industry trends, and artisan tile lines through regular training sessions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals through networking and events.
  • Provide an outstanding customer experience, fostering long-term client loyalty.
  • Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • College degree or certification in design preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience; luxury retail sales is a plus.
  • Knowledge of stone and tile materials a plus.
  • Familiarity with kitchen and bath design.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and understand construction processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 30 pounds.
