PS260 is a boutique firm in the advertising industry, comprised of award-winning editors, visual effects artists, producers, graphic designers and sound engineers. We have offices across the US, in Los Angeles, New York City, and Boston. Our client base includes companies like: American Express, Instagram, Gucci, DraftKings, Dell, Apple, and many many more (take a look at our website and check out our reels!). We focus primarily on the post production side of the business through editing and finishing commercials, content, music videos, feature films and docs for TV/web/social media, and now also offer production & audio mixing. We’re a one-stop-shop for our clients, handling everything from ideation, production, post production, to finish and ship. 


We are seeking a Senior VFX Producer for our finishing and VFX department in the NYC office.


The Senior VFX Producer:

  • manages the schedules, resources and workflow for multiple flame artists, online editors and multi-person graphics department. Adding freelance as needed.
  • oversees Finishing Department producers, assigns work, evaluates and recruits talent
  • ensures that creative and technical aspects of projects are communicated to and addressed by the finishing and VFX team on-time and with the best creative solutions.
  • keeps editorial producers and clients informed of progress to meet deadlines and avoid potential delays or budget overages
  • sees a job through from inception to final delivery - including production calls, briefings, client reviews, versioning oversight and QC
  • estimates and bids finishing and VFX jobs
  • reaches out to and manages freelance artists and VFX supervisors on an as-needed basis. Maintains an up to date database of artists both staff and freelance across all the disciplines in our industry
  • liaises with ownership to map out department growth and expansion, tech budgets and goals.


Qualifications:

  • minimum 8+ overall years of experience in flame & graphics production
  • experienced scheduling staff and resources
  • ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously


Salary Commensurate with Experience- Estimated Range: $135,000.00-$160,000.00
