is seeking a Level II
Interior Designer
to join
our team to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of the day-to-day production of multi-family interior design projects to meet deadlines accurately.
Responsibilities Provide project admin support to designers and managers Design multifamily projects Interact with clients semi-regularly Coordinate with other professionals such as contractors, architects, engineers and other consultants to ensure job success. Develop strong relationships with vendors Prepare and manage furniture budgets Utilize vendors and materials knowledge to create unique and innovative presentations Successful at multi-tasking to meet fast paced project deadlines Produce documentation, detailed instructions, drawings and specifications Assist in requesting pricing for budgetary purposes Adheres to building codes & ADA compliance throughout project lifecycle Manage and coordinate installs Record meeting minutes Pull furniture, art, and accessory selections. Domestic travel is required Sit in on conference calls
Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in interior design Experience should be relevant to multifamily. Technical proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite Bluebeam, Revit & SketchUp is desirable Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal skills Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm and with clients Ability to clearly communicate design ideas and concepts verbally and digitally Develop strong intercompany relationships
Department/Reporting Relationships Studio member on interior design team Reports to the Project Manager with a secondary reporting relationship to the assigned Senior Designer (Level 4)/Design Lead Supports Senior Designer (Level 4)/Design Lead as needed
