Latham Interiors is a full-service interior design team based in Sun Valley Idaho. Our studio is focused on creating thoughtful, beautiful, and innovative designs. We view each project through a unique lens and seek to provide professional expertise and enhanced design knowledge to help our clients achieve their interior goals.
ABOUT THE ROLE Latham Interiors is seeking a dynamic Interior Designer to join our award-winning, high-end residential design studio, located in Sun Valley, Idaho. This is a unique opportunity for a creative individual with strong design, specification, and delivery skills to be part of a vibrant interior architectural design team. Our exciting and ambitious team is expanding, and we work on high-end projects that harmonize luxury with the natural beauty of our stunning surroundings.
THE ROLE Collaborate closely with our Principal and Lead Designer. Assist in ensuring all projects uphold the studios high standards. Assist in the design and execution of high-end residential interior projects from concept to completion. Create detailed drawings, floor plans, and renderings to bring design concepts to life. Conduct material and product research, specifying contemporary furniture, finishes, and fixtures. Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and innovative design solutions. Assist with styling and staging spaces for final installation and client presentations. Organize project schedules, manage deliverables, and coordinate with vendors to ensure seamless execution. Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure project alignment. Support budgeting and procurement efforts, ensuring timely and efficient ordering of materials. Conduct jobsite visits and meetings with contractors, clients, architects and subcontractors to ensure design integrity.
THE REQUIREMENTS 2+ years of experience in interior design (preferred). Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred). Proficient in Revit (preferred), ArchiCAD or AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, and Windows-based software solutions. Proficient in communication and highly organized in managing project details. Comprehensive understanding of contemporary furniture, materials, and building finish products. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of confidently engaging with vendors.
