Your Role : As an Insurance Product Analyst IV, you will be a strategic leader and voice of the results to the broader organization and distribution partners. Having a strong analytic and strategic ability, relationship building, and business acumen will be critical for success. Every single day will look different, with most of your time spent strategizing and utilizing data to encourage action. Think big and move fast, with leadership support to try new things and creatively approach opportunities and solutions in this high visibility role. Understand and communicate the overall performance and strategy of personal lines auto and property products in your assigned markets. Deliver effective presentations to multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders, adapting the content as appropriate. Prepare materials and shape agenda for executive meetings that will make key business decisions. Assess market risks and opportunities, evaluating multiple possible solutions, and using data-based insights to influence the decisions of executive leadership. Partner cross-functionally with divisions across the organization, including Marketing, Actuarial, Finance, and others, to support achieving division and organization goals. Lead analyst community: advocate for analysts, provide guidance and mentorship, cultivate team building, and lead the team through budgeting/planning and strategic ad hoc analysis. Forecast and communicate progress towards budget, as well as create and influence strategy to achieve budget and serve the membership for all personal lines products (including new products). Lead complex analysis to develop actionable and innovative recommendations for achieving growth and profitability targets. Using tools like SQL, Microsoft Excel, Essbase, Snowflake, PowerBI, Python, etc. to access and analyze large amounts of data. Some travel required for high impact, relationship building opportunities with internal and external partners. Required Experience, Education and Skills Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience. 8+ years of analytical experience in related industry; multiple functions experience is preferred. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic and various structured analysis and design techniques, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint as we work with these tools daily. Ability to use data to inspire action. Excellent analytic and interpersonal skills, as well as attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to create and deliver effective presentations to diverse audiences (including internal and external senior executives). Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Proven history of taking initiative and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance. Engage, influence, and leverage resources across the broader organization to drive desired vision and outcomes. Consultative and solution-oriented approach, creative problem solving. Strong business acumen. Solid knowledge of P&C insurance products, pricing, underwriting, marketplace and product management, with understanding of product P&L, drivers of growth and profitability. Ability to drive collaboration and teamwork with other functions and external partners at various levels of the organization. Advanced research (quantitative and qualitative), statistical, analytical, processing, data science, data visualization, and mathematical skills. Ability to perform and lead teams that structure and conduct analyses to identify solutions to issues. Ability to read and interpret standard laws and regulations. Experience in budget forecasting. Knowledge of and proficiency in change management and project management concepts and practices. What would make us excited about you? 0 – 2 years Leadership and mentoring experiences. Master of Business Administration (MBA), CPCU certification, or Actuarial designation (ACAS, FCAS) preferred.
