Job Summary The

Project Engineer

plays a crucial role in the engineering team, supporting the development, design, and execution of projects. This position collaborates with Senior Project Engineers to prepare layouts, specifications, and quotations, ensuring all projects meet customer requirements. Additionally, the role involves working closely with internal teams, customers, and contractors to drive project success while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Pre-Quotation Support Project Conceptualization:

Assist in developing project layouts and provide product quantity estimates to support the Sales team in preparing quotations. Gather and organize necessary information for Senior Project Engineers. Communication:

Work closely with Sales and customers to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables. Provide regular progress updates to Senior Project Engineers. Preliminary Design Assist in performing preliminary design calculations, layouts, and drawings under the guidance of Senior Project Engineers. Prepare documentation to communicate and refine project concepts with stakeholders. Quotation Support Product Determination:

Assist in selecting the appropriate products based on project specifications and help prepare the bill of materials. Specification Writing:

Contribute to drafting specifications for potential projects. Review & Compliance:

Support the review of project specifications to ensure alignment with engineering and manufacturing disciplines. Site Meetings:

Attend site meetings to document key project details and assist with follow-up tasks. Project Support Design & Execution:

Assist in preparing drawings, performing calculations, and verifying field measurements after order receipt. Review & Revision:

Collaborate with Sales to review customer redlined quotations and drawings, ensuring accuracy in project documentation. Equipment & Procurement:

Support the finalization of equipment specifications, place internal orders, and coordinate delivery timelines. Schedule Monitoring:

Track engineering schedules and report potential cost or cash flow impacts. Documentation:

Assist in compiling comprehensive job files and contract specifications. Issue Resolution:

Help troubleshoot technical issues alongside Senior Project Engineers. Team Collaboration:

Foster strong relationships with team members and uphold company values. Site Support Customer Training:

Assist in providing on-site training for system installation, testing, and maintenance. Technical Support:

Offer guidance to contractors and installers to ensure correct system implementation. Field Measurements:

Conduct or assist in field measurements and provide necessary training to contractors. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Project Engineers or leadership. Required Skills & Qualifications Software Proficiency:

3+ years of experience with

Revit, AutoCAD Electrical,

or similar design software. Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline. Experience:

2–4+ years as an Electrical Engineer in an engineering firm (construction industry), electrical equipment manufacturer, or a similar role.
