Position Overview The Head – Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that strengthen Blue Dart’s brand positioning, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role will lead brand campaigns, digital marketing, customer experience initiatives, and market research to drive business expansion. The incumbent will play a key role in demand generation, competitive intelligence, and strategic alliances, ensuring Blue Dart maintains its leadership in the Indian logistics market. Job Purpose The role is focused on enhancing Blue Dart’s brand strength, driving customer engagement, and creating demand for its logistics services. The Head of Marketing will develop integrated marketing strategies, leverage digital channels, and position Blue Dart as the preferred logistics partner for businesses and consumers alike. Key Responsibilities Brand Management & Positioning • Develop and execute brand positioning strategies that reinforce Blue Dart’s leadership in the logistics industry. • Drive marketing campaigns that enhance brand awareness and customer loyalty across diverse customer segments. • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing communications, digital platforms, and customer touchpoints. Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement • Lead digital transformation in marketing, optimizing presence across social media, content marketing, SEO, and digital advertising. • Implement data-driven marketing strategies, leveraging analytics and AI-driven insights to improve customer targeting. • Enhance customer engagement through personalized campaigns, automated CRM strategies, and loyalty programs. Go-to-Market Strategy & Demand Generation • Develop market penetration strategies for key business verticals, including B2B, B2C, and e-commerce logistics. • Collaborate with the sales and product teams to execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launches. • Drive lead generation, nurture campaigns, and sales enablement programs to accelerate revenue growth. Competitive Intelligence & Market Research • Conduct industry and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities. • Develop insights-driven strategies to differentiate Blue Dart’s services and value propositions in a competitive market. • Track marketing ROI and performance metrics, optimizing strategies based on data-driven insights. Partnerships, Events & PR • Build strategic alliances and partnerships to enhance market reach and brand credibility. • Lead sponsorships, industry events, and thought leadership initiatives to strengthen Blue Dart’s market presence. • Manage public relations (PR) and corporate communications, ensuring a strong and positive brand image. Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership • Work closely with sales, product development, operations, and technology teams to align marketing efforts with business goals. • Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering an innovative and high-performance culture. • Manage agency partnerships, media relations, and external vendors to drive marketing excellence. Qualifications & Experience Education • Essential: MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Business Strategy, or Communications. • Preferred: Certification in Digital Marketing, Brand Strategy, or Customer Experience. Experience • Overall: 12–15 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or strategic marketing, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, or service industries. • Proven expertise in digital marketing, demand generation, and customer engagement strategies. • Strong experience in B2B and B2C marketing, competitive analysis, and PR management. Technical Skills & Competencies Core Technical Skills • Expertise in brand management, campaign execution, and digital marketing strategies. • Strong knowledge of SEO, performance marketing, social media advertising, and CRM tools. • Experience in market research, data analytics, and marketing automation technologies.
