GAC Enterprises, LLC, a leading telecommunication construction company based in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Horizontal Directional Driller to join our team in our Albuquerque, New Mexico market. As a Horizontal Directional Driller, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used for underground utility installation and drilling horizontal bores.
Responsibilities:
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Provide HDD drill head location services for the HDD Operator around and/or on utilities for fiber installation projects Maintain company equipment per service requirements and safety guidelines Experience working on the right of ways in all weather conditions Communicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervision Qualifications:
Prior experience operating directional drilling equipment and locating utilities Strong knowledge of underground construction practices and techniques Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings Knowledge of utility locating equipment and techniques Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and in a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Benefits:
