Sales & Design Manager – Landscape/Hardscape – Snohomish, WA

Reynolds Landscape Company – serving clients in North King County and South Snohomish County - is looking for a talented and highly motivated Sales & Design Manager. The Sales & Design Manager is responsible for the management of assigned project design from the initial client interview to completion of the project. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ability to envision and plan beautiful, functional landscapes and communicate that effectively to the client. Site analyses that include the assessment of current plants & soil assessment, architectural style, customer preferences, etc. Ability and desire to revise designs and proposals to meet customer needs. Maintain job costs per guidelines and assist in meeting profitability goals. Excellent understanding of the importance of tracking job costs and change orders. Assist with change order documentation and final invoicing. Proactively network and develop new business relationships. Able to meet customers on-site and virtual (example: ZOOM) as needed. Works closely with administrative support to ensure all contract administration is timely and accurate. Desires to keep up on industry changes, attending networking events (even if that includes an occasional Saturday) to build customer list. Proactively recommends improved work methods and processes. Qualifications At least five (5) years landscape design, estimating, sales, installation, and/or management experience. Landscape Design/Architectural degree required or experience in lieu of degree will be considered. Common PNW Plant Identification, horticultural, grading and sculpting knowledge a must. Proven ability to implement highly beneficial processes/procedures. Must be able to prioritize work, manage time, keep details succinct and documented for multiple projects and can pivot when needed. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish-English a plus. Highly proficient skill level in computer software including but not limited to: Office 365, Word, Excel, Outlook. DynaScape or similar CAD design software a must. 3D modeling and video presentation a plus. Proven track record with detail-oriented work. Ability to work within deadlines. Currently hold and maintain a valid WA state driver's license and current insurance as well as ability to pass a background check.
