Associate Web Developer
Position Summary:
Supports lead generation, brand awareness and customer engagement goals via the successful development, implementation and ongoing management and refinement of various marketing websites as well as other associated projects and digital initiatives.
Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities
Assists in the development and maintenance of various marketing websites using WordPress, following standard procedures to ensure timely updates and enhancements.
Supports the customization of basic WordPress themes and plug-ins to implement website requirements and UX/UI best practices.
Supports the development of campaign-specific landing pages, including lead form creation and integration with key CRM systems.
Performs routine site updates/maintenance & minor optimizations under guidance of senior developer.
Applies basic SEO strategies. Researches and reports on the latest organic search trends/best practices and algorithm updates.
Performs additional duties and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in digital marketing/web development
1-2 years of experience in web development or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
Basic knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, HTML5, CSS3 & SASS
Experience working in WordPress (custom WordPress plugins experience a plus)
Capable of adhering to coding best practices, including object-oriented programming and mobile-first styling
Familiar with web design and UX/UI fundamentals
Sufficient understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices and techniques
Basic understanding of how to use website analytics software, specifically Google Analytics, to implement custom campaign tracking
Basic knowledge of API implementation and management
Good collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally across the organization
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Ability to learn and apply technical skills quickly
Good organizational skills and attention to deadlines
Comfortable working under supervision but with some latitude for independent judgment
Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

$72,800.00-$97,400.00
