Job Description:

We’re excited to be hiring a Graphic Designer to join the Creative Services team in our Chadds Ford, PA office. Schnabel Engineering is a growing, mid-sized civil engineering services firm operating out of 30 offices across the country. Reporting directly to the Creative Services Manager, this role will produce a wide range of print and digital design deliverables that support our strategic initiatives. Beyond design execution, you will contribute to the refinement of creative processes, collaborate with team members, and uphold best practices in design techniques, processes, branding, and visual communication. Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Creative Services team and internal clients

Design a variety of print and digital collateral—print layouts, social media graphics, banners, etc.

Communicate design decisions clearly, providing rationale for creative, technical, and strategic choices

Work in a clean aesthetic style that reflects brand standards, improving and innovating as needed

Assist with digital asset management—process, retouch, and file photos

Manage and take ownership of projects from concept to completion

Coordinate photoshoots and work with outside vendors as needed

Occasionally design and edit elements of or whole PowerPoint presentations and proposals, including infographics, icons, and maps

Required Skills/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field

Minimum of 4 years of design experience and a solid portfolio

Expertise in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and MS Office

Excellent craft, communication skills, and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and produce results while adhering to multiple deadlines

Self-starter with prompt and diligent attitude toward responsibilities

Thorough grasp of traditional graphic design techniques and practices

Video editing experience a plus (After Effects, Premiere Pro, iMovie)

Other Requirements:

Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening

The compensation range for this position is between $27/hr to $33/hr. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors. We remain committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation to all employees, regardless of their location.
