Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
Grant Writer
to research, draft, and submit compelling grant proposals that align with The Diabetes Link mission to foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing grants in the healthcare or nonprofit sector, excellent writing skills, and a passion for making a difference, especially in diabetes-related programs.
This is a Contract position with flexible hours-ideal for an experienced freelancer.
Qualifications Proven experience in securing healthcare grants, particularly for diabetes initiatives. Strong research, writing, and storytelling skills to craft persuasive proposals. Ability to translate program goals into persuasive narratives. Familiarity with grant databases and foundation funding sources. Excellent project management and deadline-driven work ethic. Ability to identify funding opportunities and build relationships with grant-making organizations. Experience with grants focused on young adult health is a plus! Additional Information
