Job Description:

Help manage all aspects of UF Research printing, including obtaining bids, handling proofing, and ensuring high-quality production standards. Assist in designing UF's Explore research magazine and other publications, contributing to layouts that showcase the university's innovative research.

Apply web design skills to maintain and grow the UF Research web presence, ensuring comprehensive, intuitive access to information about all of the organization’s services, current and emerging, for faculty, staff, and students. Work with a web developer to add and maintain content on the UF Research websites.

Work with the social media team to create compelling content that enhances UF’s reputation as a national research leader.

Manage the use of targeted software tools to reach specific internal and external audiences with specific messages, including sending out occasional e-newsletters using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and report on engagement with the messages among those audiences.

Other projects as needed.

Expected Salary:

$65,000 - $75,000

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and five years of experience.

Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio of print design projects. Wordpress design experience is a plus.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
