Job Description

As the fastest-growing, highest-performing charter school network in New York State, Success Academy is reimagining K-12 public education. Nationally recognized for our innovative, whole-child school model and outstanding academic results, Success Academy educators are empowering children from all backgrounds with the knowledge, skills, and self-belief to succeed in college and in life. We now need a results-driven Specialist, Content Publication & Delivery within the Content Management team to join our Schooling Team.

The Content Management Team is a multidisciplinary group dedicated to authoring, publishing, and delivering high-quality educational materials that empower educators and learners. By bridging the gap between content design, technology, and school operations, the team ensures seamless delivery of print and digital content while maintaining rigorous quality standards. With a focus on operational excellence, the team also supports robust response management systems to address and resolve content-related issues efficiently, enabling educators to focus on what matters most—teaching and learning.

As a Specialist on the Publication and Delivery team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that educational content is published and delivered efficiently for a large school district. This position involves collaborating with technology teams, working within Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS), and resolving issues post-publication. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, eager to learn new technical skills, and thrives in managing multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.

As the team transitions from a project-based approach to operational workflows, this role offers opportunities to grow with the team, contribute to process improvements, and drive efficiency at scale.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and execute the publication and delivery of content across various platforms, ensuring timely and accurate releases.
  • Partner closely with technology teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues within LMS and CMS platforms post-publication.
  • Monitor and maintain quality standards for published content, ensuring consistency and adherence to district guidelines.
  • Manage multiple deadlines across various content projects, adapting to shifting priorities with agility.
  • Support the transition from project-based workflows to more operational and scalable processes.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or issues to ensure smooth content delivery.
  • Contribute to the improvement of publication and delivery workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in educational content development, publishing, or related fields.
  • Ability and willingness to develop technical skills within LMS and CMS platforms (prior experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy while managing complex tasks and processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving needs and shifting priorities with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and tailor messaging to various audiences.
  • Ability to evaluate processes and propose improvements for efficiency and scalability.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Monday.com.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
