The University of Notre Dame’s Institute for Educational Initiatives (IEI) is looking for an accomplished web content coordinator, who will use your knowledge of online and mobile communication strategies to create compelling digital content to support the Institute. Your web and mobile content expertise is needed to support communications campaigns for recruitment, research, and promotion of our programs and initiatives.
Temporary request for IEI/Comm assistance for the role:
- Develop, create, and manage engaging content that aligns with our IEI brand strategy, and addresses the needs and interests of our multiple stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to develop a content strategy that promotes internal and external user engagement.
- Use web metrics and your knowledge of digital technology to maximize search rankings, optimize content, and analyze user engagement.
- Leverage your outstanding editorial skills to develop and manage an editorial calendar, collaborating with designers and communication channel owners.
- Support the testing and development of new mobile capabilities (responsive web and mobile app) including segmentation, personalization, and recommendations, to drive audience engagement.
- Analyze web and mobile results to make fact-based decisions on future planning to optimize performance.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communications or related discipline.
- Three or more years of experience (academic and professional) with web and mobile content writing and/or digital marketing.
- Strong writing skills and creativity.
- Knowledge of the Conductor content management system or Drupal is a plus.
- Experience with Adobe analytics or related platform.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative work style.
- Resourceful and results-driven; tenacity to get things done.
