Job Description
The Creative Sync Assistant is responsible for providing direct support to the SVP / Head of Creative Sync, and offering support for the full PULSE Music Group sync team, in order to help the department secure song placements in various media projects. This role will manage the Sync team’s DISCO catalog and Marketing platform, and liaise between the PULSE publishing A&R team and roster, as well as the PULSE Records team.
Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining metadata in our music asset system DISCO (which includes audio files, writer/publisher information, lyrics, artwork, release schedules, tags, etc.)
- Creating and designing marketing materials for digital e-blasts and social media posts.
- Researching and tracking sync placements on a daily basis.
- Liaising with internal and external Label and Publishing teams, Artists, and Artist management teams to ensure all needs are met.
- Assisting in creating playlists for internal and external purposes (newsletters, themed mixes, pitch decks, etc.).
- Coordinating invites and assisting with production of sync camps, showcases and miscellaneous events.
- General sync department business administration, as assigned (scheduling, sync reports, expenses, booking travel, etc.).
Qualifications
- Highly organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task and prioritize deliverables.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.
- A general understanding of the music industry with an emphasis on Publishing and/or Label.
- Strong research skills; general PRO knowledge a plus.
- Passion for music in visual media.
- Administrative experience with a working knowledge of Google Suite, MS Office suite.
- Ability to create social media, email, and marketing campaigns for digital distribution.
- Proficiency with Photoshop, Canva, HTML and Campaign Monitor.
- Knowledgeable in and safeguarding confidential and proprietary information.
Additional Information
$35,000-$45,000 per year
