Caesars Entertainment’s internal creative agency, The Source, is seeking a talented Video Editor. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Creative Director of Photo/Video, ACD of post-production, and other team members within the agency to transform footage into compelling final deliverables. This position is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about video editing and the entire production process, and who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. As a Video Editor at The Source Creative Agency, you will be expected to demonstrate creativity and align your work with the unique brand style of Caesars Entertainment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Edit video footage to produce engaging and cohesive final products for various Caesars Entertainment brands, particularly the Las Vegas Market.
  2. Manage individual editing tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
  3. Maintain effective communication with team members and clients throughout all phases of a project to guarantee that deadlines and milestones are met.
  4. Juggle multiple editing assignments simultaneously and provide regular updates on progress.
  5. Adhere to established naming conventions and protocols when handling project data in shared storage systems.
  6. Contribute ideas and best practices within the editing and creative teams.
  7. Offer and solicit constructive feedback to continuously elevate the quality of output.
  8. Assist in developing and refining post-production methods and technologies.
  9. Coordinate with the Associate Creative Director and the post-production team to meet project deadlines.
  10. Edit projects according to specific scripts or editorial notes.
  11. Execute client-specified revisions promptly.
  12. Ensure timely delivery of finished projects to the Creative Director and Account Team.
  13. Report key project details to management and identify any obstacles impacting project timelines.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in video/media post-production.
  2. Strong proficiency in post-production processes and software, particularly Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Premiere).
  3. Proven experience in a professional video editing role.
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and maintain a professional demeanor.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Knowledge of standard office software.
  7. A portfolio or demo reel displaying previous work is essential for consideration.
