About the Role

As a Graphic Designer, you will use your creativity, technical skills, and design expertise to craft cohesive visual concepts that resonate with a target audience. You must specialize in creating assets for brand identities, marketing materials, social media, websites, and product packaging. Collaborating with team members, including copywriters, video editors, and web developers, is essential to ensuring that all materials align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the intended messages.

Responsibilities

  • Design logos, brand identities, and marketing materials.
  • Create comprehensive brand guides, develop graphics for social media, draft product packaging, static layouts for websites, and advertisements that align with brand identity.
  • Collaborate with team members.
  • Work closely with copywriters, web developers, and video teams to ensure cohesive visual concepts.
  • Utilize graphic design software.
  • Develop designs using tools like Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Communicate both internally and with clients regarding marketing plans and design schematics.
  • Meet deadlines.
  • Manage time effectively to deliver high-quality designs on schedule.

Required Criteria

  • Design: Experience with logo design, marketing materials, and print specifications.
  • Portfolio: Demonstrated expertise through a strong portfolio with high-quality design.
  • Software: Proficiency with Creative Suite (esp. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Software: Proficiency with Google Suite (esp. Gmail, Calendar, Meet, etc.).
  • Communication: Ability to clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust designs based on feedback and project requirements.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to overcome design challenges and deliver effective solutions.

Preferred Criteria

  • Education: Degree (BFA or higher) in design or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Two years of professional graphic design (or related) experience.
  • UI/UX: Demonstrated understanding of user experience and user interface practices.
  • Video: Demonstrated understanding of motion graphics, editing, video production.
  • Social: Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms, marketing, posting.
  • Photography: Proficiency with professional camera equipment and practices.
