We are looking for a Public Relations Manager (MX) who will be responsible for Mobile eXperience (MX) Public Relations. You will lead the creation and implementation of communications programs and initiatives to drive awareness for related mobile product services offerings in the US, including Wallet, Health initiative, and Galaxy Ecosystem. You must have strategic and creative communication acumen and operational expertise to ensure impactful PR campaigns that amplify the services, products, and brand.

This includes developing and executing strategic plans for positive coverage across various media and influencer outlets, managing communications and relationships with internal and external partners, and collaborating with other business groups within the organization. You will also liaise with the Korea office on global communication strategy, media targets, events, and outreach related to product and service launches. You will report to the Head of MX PR and you will be integral to enhancing global visibility.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute PR strategies and plans for the Mobile eXperience team product services and initiatives including Wallet, Health initiative, and Galaxy Ecosystem.
  • Lead day-to-day management of key external partners.
  • Build and own relationships with top-tier, influential consumer tech and lifestyle media.
  • Identify interesting story angles about the full mobile ecosystem and secure stories that have high potential to attract strong media coverage.
  • Take an open-ended mandate and give it analysis and structure, culminating in a concrete set of PR objectives and a clear way to achieve them.
  • Collaborate with global offices and business groups in Korea and U.S.
  • Provide support/management of outside agencies.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual basis.

Required Experience and Education:

  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or business management.
  • Experience with and the ability to manage complex logistics.

  • Ability to make professional business presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally, including complex business and technical matters to an audience of high technical skills, management, and operational experience.
  • Ability to support a cross-functional team to achieve customer contracted objectives and specific team goals within established time frames and requirements.

Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time-sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
