As a Business Operations Technical Writer at M3, you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining business processes, procedures, and best practice documentation across all product lines. You'll collaborate closely with Business Operations Advisors to communicate process changes and enhancements, serving as a trusted consultant and subject matter expert in technical procedures and documentation. How You Will Make an Impact
- Develop clear, concise, and easily understandable instructions for product-line specific processes in partnership with Business Operations Advisors.
- Regularly audit all procedures for accuracy and relevance, making necessary edits and improvements.
- Translate verbal instructions, bullet-point outlines, and visual materials into detailed, step-by-step written processes.
- Collaborate with Business Operations Advisors to identify training needs and opportunities when new procedures are developed, or significant changes are made.
- Ensure new and updated processes and procedures are promptly integrated into Immersion materials for new M3ers.
- Make recommendations to Business Operations Advisors and Service Leaders on process improvements.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive schedule for regular audits of all existing procedures.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- High school diploma required; higher education in technical writing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of insurance industry experience preferred.
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with Applied Epic and M3's business processes and procedures preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
- Wisconsin Insurance license is preferred.
