Our leading IT/Fitness client is seeking a talented Technical Writer to join their dynamic team and help enhance their global support team's knowledge base! In this role, you’ll create and update internal knowledge articles, working within existing style guides to ensure a consistent, user-friendly experience. You’ll partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to fill knowledge gaps, ensuring the agents can easily find and utilize information. With your expertise in Madcap Flare, HTML, and CSS, you’ll craft and update content for the Community Support agents, ensuring everything is aligned with the user-facing content and training materials. You’ll also collaborate closely with technical writers and L&D teams, making sure all resources are cohesive and effective.
What You’ll Do
- Working within the existing style guides, create new internal knowledge articles, and update existing information for the global support team in a consistent tone and style.
- Leverage the existing content request pipeline to partner with SMEs, stakeholders, and front-line leadership to fill knowledge gaps within the existing internal knowledge base that agents can find and use efficiently and effectively.
- Leverage the authoring program and existing Madcap Flare project to craft new internal knowledge articles and update existing information for the Community Support agents, ultimately publishing to the IKB platform (Simpplr).
- Act as a “second set of eyes” when reviewing new processes and procedures and iterating existing knowledge.
- Partner closely with the technical writing and L&D team to ensure the user-facing content, internal knowledge, and training materials remain aligned and complimentary.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of technical writing experience.
- Knowledge of Madcap Flare. A MUST!
- Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility, you’re able to quickly switch gears to better accommodate the needs of agents.
- A team player who is able to work well independently and remotely.
Bonus Points
- Experience supporting a globally dispersed customer support organization.
- Cycling, running, or fitness technology experience!
- Experience with Kustomer, Lessonly, and Simplr.
