In this role, you will focus on both developing new business and providing exceptional service to clients, with a target market of small to mid-size companies, personal lines insurance accounts, and building strong referral relationships. Responsibilities

  • Sales & Service: Develop and acquire new business revenue through sales efforts, targeting small to mid-size commercial businesses, personal lines accounts, and building strong referral relationships.
  • Client Retention: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, providing high-level service that meets their ongoing insurance needs.
  • Referral Networks: Build and grow referral relationships to expand client base and generate new sales opportunities.
  • Comprehensive Account Management: Manage both commercial and personal insurance lines, with a focus on providing tailored coverage solutions that align with client needs.
  • Collaborative Sales: Work closely with team members, including other producers and support personnel, to participate in team-based sales opportunities.
  • Client Relationships: Oversee overall client relationships while receiving day-to-day support from account management teams.
  • Mentorship & Support: Assist, educate, and mentor team members in client acquisition and servicing, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  • Leveraging Technology: Apply modern industry technologies to enhance sales efforts, service existing clients, and ensure smooth account transfers.
  • Business Planning: Prepare and implement individual business plans and production budgets to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborative Culture: Build and maintain strong interdivision and intercompany relationships that align with our company’s collaborative, healthy, and fun culture.

Requirements

  • Insurance License: Must possess a valid insurance license.
  • Sales experience, particularly in insurance production for both commercial businesses and personal lines insurance.
  • Strong ability to build and nurture client and referral relationships.
  • Proven track record in sales, with a focus on client retention and service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to collaborate in team settings and work independently as needed.
  • Proficiency with industry-related technology tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client accounts.
  • Acts independently with minimal direction.
