This part-time, VTS assignment is expected to last no later than May 30, 2025.
We are seeking a skilled temporary Project Manager to oversee and manage the university Commencement Program and smaller commencement projects for the Creative Team within the Communications and Marketing division at Vanderbilt University. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project timelines, resources and deliverables to ensure successful completion within the designated timeframe and budget. The temporary Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and external vendors to drive project progress and mitigate risks.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute project plans, including timelines and milestones within Wrike, the project management system.
- Collect, review, and organize materials for the designers, freelancers, and editors
- Facilitate and monitor the proofing process with our outside editor, partners, etc.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and address potential risks or roadblocks.
- Communicate project updates, status reports, and key milestones to stakeholders and leadership.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment to maximize efficiency and project success.
- Evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
