Janek Performance Group is looking for a detail-oriented Learning Content Editor to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced editor with a strong eye for accuracy, consistency, and branding who enjoys working with training and instructional materials. As a remote position, this opportunity offers the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with a team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality sales training content.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Learning & Development, the Learning Content Editor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and formatting training materials to ensure they meet Janek’s high-quality standards. This role involves working with multiple teams, managing deadlines, and ensuring all deliverables are client-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and proofread training materials in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and PDF files, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Provide editorial quality assurance for Janek’s digital sales training applications.
- Format content using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, ensuring a polished, professional appearance.
- Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Learning Strategists, and Marketing to keep projects on track.
- Assist Marketing with proofreading blog posts and other digital content.
- Track project progress using SharePoint and ensure all materials receive final approval before completion.
- Work independently while maintaining clear communication with team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in editing and proofreading, ideally in a digital or training content environment.
- Strong command of the English language, with exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, WebEx, or Zoom for virtual collaboration.
