Purpose of Role


The Evaporative Media Technician is responsible for ensuring correct removal and install of Evaporative Media in various HVAC equipment.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to a competent level.   • Perform replacement of evaporative media in HVAC equipment
  • Cleaning of unit to include header piping and associated components
  • Perform minor repairs to units relevant to replacement of evaporative media
  • Escalate to team lead and management any issues encountered during course of work
  • Work within critical environments without causing unnecessary disruption to customer infrastructure
  • Adhere to customer security guidelines
  • Interface with customers in a professional manner
  • Adhere to the company’s Quality Assurance System and Health and Safety policies.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Professional Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies


  • Education and Experience: 2 years’ experience in Mechanical or HVAC service. Critical environment experience preferred.
  • Language Skills: Strong communication skills both written and orally in English.
  • Ability to Reason: The ability to remain calm and focused under stress. Must remain professional and courteous when dealing with customers.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of MS office
  • Other: Proven ability to work in the United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to:

  • Kneeling, reaching, stooping and climbing ladders when working on units for the purpose of replacing media
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
