The Sr. Marketing Manager is a member of the EBusiness team, playing a leadership role in the strategy and execution of data enrichment and customer catalogs for PCG experiences in North America, EMEA and APAC business units.

The role will lead a global team responsible for the curation, enrichment, stewardship, and governance of marketing data in support of customer facing digital and procurement experiences.

Responsibilities include identifying opportunities to create efficiencies and take products to market quickly while improving the digital user experience through market-leading product content. To be effective in this role, the candidate must achieve a high degree of alignment with stakeholders, ensuring a clear action plan, goals are confirmed, and resources are allocated. It is crucial that the candidate also remains current and consistent across a diverse and growing landscape of customer touchpoints.

The outcome will be best-in-class product enrichment and catalog delivery for our customers, driving conversions, sales, improved online customer experiences, and support of Sherwin-Williams omni-channel goals.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY

  • Work with senior stakeholders across the business to develop and deliver a clear product/customer content enrichment and delivery strategy that aligns with divisional goals.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the broader EBusiness team and senior stakeholders, ensuring goals are on track, activity is balanced against priorities, and any issues are managed promptly.
  • Integrate with our customers and markets within the assigned division, looking for opportunities to innovate, align customers with our product content solutions, and deliver value to support business goals.
  • Manage and mentor an experienced team, encouraging collaboration across divisions and extending learning and knowledge-sharing opportunities to establish a world-leading team of product content and digital catalog experts.
  • Align with the other Senior Marketing Managers in EBusiness to innovate and deliver product content solutions across the Sherwin-Williams business.
  • Drive the PCG model for product content enrichment and delivery, including processes, roles and responsibilities, workflow, and change management.
  • Direct the delivery of product content to meet the specifications and schedules of internal and external customers in support of websites, E-Commerce, and digital tools.
  • Direct, manage, and facilitate product content optimization and compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Bachelors degree

Preferred:

  • College Degree in Business, IT, Consumer Goods Marketing, Digital Marketing, eCommerce or a related field

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Well-versed in project leadership and management.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of working through business requirement definition.
  • Experienced with projects having a global scope.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Adept at conforming to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, can persuade, influence, and build consensus among business stakeholders.
  • Ability to present information in verbal, written, or visual form to of various audiences, from internal team members to company executives.
  • Ability to lead under pressure and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience owning/leading a digital, marketing or E-Business function.
  • Experience in advanced content management practices.
  • Understanding of the current product data management industry.
  • B2B and B2C customer relationship management and experience.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of product content experience working with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, IT, external agencies, vendors, or partners.
  • 3-5 years as a manager leading medium size teams (10-15 employees)
  • Experience creating a high-performance culture.
  • Experienced communicator at all levels and able to translate technical information clearly.
  • Personable and experienced in building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and agencies.

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Working knowledge or experience with MDM platforms, specifically STEP or STIBO products
  • Working knowledge or experience with Product Information Management (PIM) tools
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and/or Project
  • Background in content syndication platforms such as Salsify and Syndigo.
  • Experience in content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager
