Position Title: Architectural and Design Representative
Location/Territory: Delaware, Maryland, Virginia
Reports to: PADSC Director
Working Schedule: 100% Outside sales
Position Summary: Driving specification of solid surfaces and quartz surfaces in the Commercial Market using strategic methods throughout the commercial value chain including architectural and design firms (A&D firms), facility managers and end-users. Identifying the key areas of growth in the market, presenting, and conducting presentations of Hyundai L&C products through company sponsored presentations and sample distribution. Reporting and tracking projects utilizing SalesForce, Dodge, and local resources.
Role Description:
- The strategic planning, management, and presentation of specifications of solid surfaces and quartz Surfaces in the commercial market. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, conducting product overview presentations, supplying architectural firms and others with sample sets and new product releases, utilizing SalesForce and Dodge for tracking and bidding purposes, collaborating with business development managers on specification projects, and generating projected plans on a monthly basis.
Responsibilities:
- Drive specification of solid surface and quartz surfaces in the commercial market through strategic calls into key architectural and design firms (A&D firms) as well as end user clients.
- Conduct product overview presentations to architect firms and end user clients.
- Educating A&D firms on the company and color offering within the Hanex and HanStone products.
- Present Hyundai L&C sponsored presentations through a variety of formats to A & D firms.
- Utilize Material Bank and Dodge for tracking projects, budgeting projects in design development, and researching new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with territory managers on projects.
Qualifications: Listed below are the minimum and/or desired qualifications of the position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills that are required to perform satisfactorily in the position:
Education and Work Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in Design, Art, Business, or related field preferred but not required.
- Direct experience working in the construction arena for a minimum of 5 years.
- Local commercial marketplace knowledge preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent oral and written, communication, presentation and organization skills.
- Excellent Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- CRM expericence, SalesForce preferred.
- Excellent selling skills and strong commercial marketing knowledge
- The energy and focus to achieve goals and be results oriented
- Must be able to think and work independently.

Physical Demands:
- Position requires regular interaction with customers and clients.
- Position requires minimal lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Position requires regular and reliable attendance.
- Position requires travel up to 30% of time, including overnight travel in the territory.
