As a Design Build Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring negotiated and invitation-to-bid sales with support from our engineering team. This entails leading the sales process from initial contact to completion, cultivating key customer and vendor relationships, and developing sales strategies to achieve business goals.

What We Ask of You:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals for design-build/negotiated projects.
- Cultivate relationships with potential clients, including building owners, developers, general contractors, engineers, and architects.
- Collaborate with internal and external engineering and design teams to develop energy-efficient, innovative, and cost-effective solutions tailored to client needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments of project requirements, specifications, and budgets to provide accurate proposals and estimates.
- Lead presentations and negotiations with clients to secure contracts for projects.
- Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Professionally represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our services and expand our client base.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and project progress to senior management.
Experience & Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in the design-build segment within the mechanical contracting industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the territory as needed to meet clients and attend events.
Danforth offers a competitive benefits package for eligible employees including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, paid time off, 401(k), with company match, and participation in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The estimated compensation range for this role is $70,000-$120,000. This range is based on several factors, including individual education, qualifications, training, prior work experience, and work location.
