Studio Technician

Location: On-site – Regular office hours (Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM)
Pay: Up to $25.00/hr (Weekly pay on W2) with benefits of Medical, Vision, and Dental
Contract Length: Long-term contract

What You’ll Do:

• Adapt and process original artwork to meet customer and manufacturing specifications.
• Preflight incoming files to detect and resolve technical or regulatory issues.
• Modify and prepare production-ready files using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Ensure compliance with printing sequences, trapping, and spreading techniques.
• Perform color adjustments and verify proofs to maintain high-quality standards.
• Interface with Customer Service, Sales, and design agencies to resolve artwork issues.
• Maintain accurate file organization, printer calibrations, and documentation.

Your Day to Day:

• Review and adapt artwork files for production compliance.
• Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to modify and finalize designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve file-related issues.
• Work in a structured, process-driven environment with clear guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet quality and regulatory standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-5 years of experience in prepress, graphic design, or formal training.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (Photoshop experience preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict guidelines.
• Ability to understand printing sequences and troubleshoot errors.
• Highly organized with strong process-following skills.
• Comfortable working in a technical role (not creative).
• Degree preferred but not required if skilled in necessary software.
