About the Role: The Senior Technical Writer will report into the Product org, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to own and maintain educational documentation for our customers, creating user-friendly experiences in our knowledge base and within our product.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain the knowledge base for both Beamer and Userflow products, contributing to overall customer education and adoption
  • Collaborate with PMs, Designers, Developers, and Customer Support throughout the PDLC to to update and develop high-quality technical documentation. Create and maintain documentation, including user guides, API documentation, and product release notes
  • Create and own a cross-functional process for all documentation across both Userflow and Beamer products
  • Develop and support content content strategy for the product with Product Leadership
  • Follow audience-centered methods to understand learning needs
  • Continuously improve content based on user feedback, customer success collaboration, and data analytics
  • Partner with marketing and PMs on external webinars and overall customer education efforts
  • Collaborate with PMs and Design to explore new approaches that will provide the best in-app contextual guidance for users

What you'll be measured on:

  • The accuracy and effectiveness of your documentation of our products
  • The impact your documentation has on our customers
  • The impact your documentation has on our support team and GTM team

Key Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in software technical writing, preferably in SaaS
  • BA/BS or MS in Technical Communication, English, Human-Computer Interaction, or related discipline (or relevant experience)
  • Highly skilled on content management systems and documentation tools
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • The ability to work successfully in a high-energy, globally remote, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment is a must
  • Proven experience in content design and strategy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently with leadership guidance and feedback
