The tgin® Marketing Director will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for shaping and driving the brand’s creative vision through an integrated, omni-channel approach. This role oversees both traditional & digital marketing, product development (driving innovation), e-commerce strategy, creative and event management. The tgin® Marketing Director will collaborate with key cross-functional teams—including sales, operations, finance, and regulatory—while also demonstrating the ability to work autonomously. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a deep experience in brand management, global expansion, team development, and problem-solving, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team, including Events Manager, Assistant Marketing Manager, Retail & Education Specialist, R&D Specialist, Ecommerce Manager, and Creative.
- Cultivate a collaborative, communicative, and creative team culture, driving innovation and commitment to achieve business goals.
- Inform portfolio decisions including pricing, promotions, features and mix across channels with data-driven marketplace insights and SKU level analysis.
- Provide weekly and monthly performance recaps, along with ongoing reporting and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and programs, including KPI tracking for individual team member scorecards.
- Partner with Finance to develop budgets and ensure alignment to business plans.
Brand & Retail Marketing:
- Lead 360 planning to develop cross functional marketing plans for launches and campaigns with touchpoints: Digital Marketing, Social Media, Creative, Events, PR & Influencer Marketing
- Establish and manage brand relationship with PR team, create launch and yearly strategies
- Partner with Assistant Marketing Manager and Creative to develop insightful marketing briefs that translate the brand story into compelling design, copy and elevated brand assets.
- Oversee event management with Events Manager ensuring seamless execution, cohesive brand representation, budget alignment, and logistic excellence to elevate the brand presence and attendant experience.
- Develop and execute retail marketing strategies to drive awareness and sales in new and existing channels.
- Oversee product education strategies including ingredient highlights, benefits and versatile uses to improve customer understanding.
- Establish key metrics to analyze campaign performance to allocate funds and determine ROI
NPD:
- Manage tgin’s Research & Development Specialist, driving the conceptualization of innovative product concepts that meet brand objectives and consumer needs.
- Manage a pipeline of product innovations and improvements to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- Work with team members to validate product performance, packaging, and labeling.
- Ensure all new products meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements, including the certification of EU/UK compliance for all SKUs within the portfolio.
- Evaluate and follow-through on all aspects of the product development cycle to ensure timelines are being achieved.
Digital Marketing:
- Provide strategic leadership to the Ecommerce Manager, guiding the optimization of the brand’s website shopping experience to drive revenue growth, enhance storytelling, and strengthen brand affinity.
- Partner with E-Commerce manager to strategize on premium content and campaigns to increase our consumer demographic and acquisition.
- Implement and oversee analytics frameworks to track marketing performance and consumer purchase behavior. Use these insights to continuously refine and improve marketing efforts.
- Manage the paid media strategy with the brand’s external agency, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing timeline and achieving a ROAS that maximizes spend and campaign effectiveness.
Performance metrics in your first year:
- Achieve a 34% increase in e-commerce revenue by optimizing the website shopping experience and the paid media strategy to increase new customer acquisition.
- Drive the on-time launch of minimum 3 new product SKUs, ensuring regulatory compliance, a full launch campaign strategy for retail and dot com, and developing all marketing materials needed to support sales channels.
- Increase sell-through of top 10 SKUs across all sales channels, monitoring performance and evaluating lift by SKU during year-end reporting.
- Manage a high-performing marketing team, implementing individual KPI tracking and encouraging accountability and successful execution of annual scorecard goals.
- Enhance team efficiency with the use of Asana for managing projects, tracking tasks, and centralizing meeting notes + communication.
- Drive the professional development of the team by promoting participation in role related learning sessions.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and make decisions independently while effectively leading and inspiring others to achieve team objectives.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Asana; experience with retail analytics.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of brand marketing experience, preferably in the beauty industry.
- A strategic and creative thinker encompassing a solid mix of operational marketing + brand storytelling skills
- Experience leading and developing a team to meet departmental goals, but also comfortable being hands-on to own and drive projects forward
- Proven ability to analyze data to identify trends and drive growth.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up-to 15 pounds during in-store setups, product demonstrations, or related events.
