The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in managing and executing diverse marketing and promotional activities. As part of a small and dynamic team in a growing company, this individual will need to be flexible and take initiative, contributing across various marketing functions. This individual will partner with external agencies to ensure smooth workflows, timely campaign launches, and the successful achievement of marketing goals. Analyzing the competitive landscape to identify opportunities is also a key function.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing and Promotions

  • Promotional Calendar Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive promotional calendar, ensuring alignment across platforms, channels, and marketing agencies. This includes creating a monthly calendar based on platform-specific goals, setting up promotions and ads on existing marketplaces (e.g., Walmart, eBay, Temu, Shein) and adapting to new platforms as we expand.

  • Email & SMS Marketing: Manage email marketing campaigns and flows, including deep dives into optimization and improving deliverability. Optimize segmentation, design direction, and strategizing based on monthly goals. Monitor performance through key metrics and reporting.

  • Website Management: Maintain and update the Shopify website, including banners and product pages etc, to ensure smooth operation, strategic design, and consistent promotional messaging.

Public Relations

  • Manage PR activities with the agency (Tractenberg) for product launches and media segments.
  • Update press lists monthly, ensuring assets are organized and readily available.
  • Gather assets, product images, and descriptions for TV segments and ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of PR boxes.

Affiliate & Creator Campaigns

  • Collaborate with Social Media Manager to oversee & manage the affiliate program.
  • Ensure communication is smooth and efficient between affiliates, creators, and internal teams.
  • Strategize and develop creative ideas for influencer partnerships.
  • Work with the Social Media Manager to manage the affiliate community.

Wholesale/sales Support

  • Prepare materials such as brochures, pitch decks, presentations, and promotional assets for product launches and partnership.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to be featured in relevant subscription boxes, and tracking the success of placements 

Product Development & branding

  • Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer and design team on new product launches.
  • Facilitate product rebranding projects through regular team meetings and updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with 1-2 years of experience in related fields. 
  • Highly organized with a strong ability to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently, all while maintaining a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative, readily researches solutions, and demonstrates a commitment to successful and timely project delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of the product development process & Klaviyo Email Marketing Platform is a plus.
