Title: Associate Director, Digital Content

Location: Boise, ID

Duration: Permanent, FTE

Must Haves:

-5 years of related experience within the digital marketing and direct marketing space.

-A jack/jill of all trades that is comfortable moving at a fast-paced tempo and on multiple things at one time.

-Social media marketing and management across all platforms Instagram, Facebook, X, tiktok, etc...

-Ability to create content with digital design/graphics for mass email marketing, letterheads, envelopes, and more. -Online storytelling and ability to captivate followers in unique ways

60% of the time, the Associate Director will:

  • Support the execution of strategic, cross-channel digital marketing communications within the Boise State University Foundation, adhering to university guidelines, initiatives, and the overall communication plan, with a focus on alumni engagement, donor stewardship, and annual giving.
  • Assist in managing and implementing the university's annual giving program, emphasizing a data-driven strategy for acquiring new donors and stewarding/cultivating the existing donor base.
  • Facilitate the integration of electronic communication and social media into the Foundation's communication strategy and tactics, with a particular focus on Alumni Relations and Annual Giving methods and strategies.
  • Execute strategic cross-channel digital communications (email, web, social media) across all areas of the Foundation to boost awareness and engagement among alumni and friends.
  • Provide creative direction, digital design, and print graphic design services to the Foundation for items such as mass emails using HTML, invitations, reports, direct mail pieces, donor proposals, online storytelling, videos, and other mediums.
  • Coordinate a committee of cross-divisional and campus partners to drive the strategy, marketing, and event efforts for Bronco Giving Day.

35% of the time, the Associate Director will:

  • Maintain and update the division’s websites, including content generation.
  • Assist in designing strategic communications pieces and messaging across multiple media with clear goals and objectives, target markets, execution plans, and mechanisms for reporting results for all areas of the Foundation.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor departmental branding efforts to ensure consistency with university guidelines and departmental goals and initiatives.
  • Identify, build, and leverage key campus and off-campus relationships to enhance communication, brand awareness, fundraising, sponsorship, and community engagement for both the division and the university among donors and alumni.

Plusses:

- Experience working in higher education

-Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.

-Experience in education or state/local government

-Wordpress experience

-Salesforce Marketing Cloud

-Marketing Cloud and Graduway experience

Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is looking for an Associate Director of Digital Marketing, assist with the integration of electronic communications and social media into Alumni Relations and Annual Giving methods and strategies; assist with the utilization and support of digital marketing platforms (such as Marketing Cloud and Graduway) as a communications and outreach tool; assist with basic web, email and print graphic design services and maintenance of the division’s websites; and assist in creating strategic communications pieces and messaging in multiple media for advancement purposes.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary range starts at $60,000 annually
