Sales and Marketing Assistant
Noozhawk is experiencing phenomenal growth in readership and reach and are looking for the right person to add to our promotions team.
We have an immediate opening for a highly detail-orientated sales and marketing assistant to provide administrative support to the digital sales department. This position requires a self-starter able to work well independently as well as collaboratively to assist digital marketing-driven weekly tasks and seasonal projects.
Familiarity with the digital landscape and a high level of computer-savvy is required. Experience with virtual platforms, and/or data and systems comprehension a must for any remote work. Preference for candidates familiar with Santa Barbara County, and an interest in local digital media.
Project-driven work often includes email marketing campaigns, contest giveaways, and promotional digital newsletters. Administrative support will include digital ad launches, website updates, events calendar oversight, email promotions and marketing deliverables, as well as identifying advertising prospects for the sales team. This position may also be responsible for updating social media posts, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and Linkedin.
Once proficient with our product offerings, the Sales and Marketing Assistant will work with new and current clients to assist them with their online advertising and promotional needs. Sales or customer service experience a plus, with the opportunity for growth into a stronger sales role within the company for the right candidate. Digital sales training provided.
