Our growing company is seeking a talented Web Developer & Designer to join our Marketing Team in Toronto, Canada.This is a full-time on-site role. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and maintaining responsive websites with a focus on accessibility and be proficient in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.

About the Role
- Collaborate with team to implement engaging designs.
- Write, modify, and integrate website-related code.
- Edit website content (front-end and backend).
- Create solutions for identified problems or bugs.
- Organize the website to ensure that pages and theme files are easy to maintain.
- Monitor quality, security, and user experiences to identify areas of improvement.
- Integrate graphics, audio, and video into the website.
- Develop and implement procedures for ongoing website revisions.
- Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices.
- Ensure that created web pages are all fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standard.
About You
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Web Development, or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Web Developer using content management systems, such as Wordpress, Drupal, or others is required.
- Extensive knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services, including API (REST, SOAP), CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, security principles, and UI design.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience with graphic design.
- Experience in planning and developing websites across multiple products and organizations.
- Creative problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards and practices, particularly WCAG 2.1.
