Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Proposal Writer, Mid to join our growing team.

**Position is remote**


Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to lead the development of written content for Federal, State or Commercial RFIs, RFPs, Market Research, Sources Sought, and other documents.


Responsibilities:

  • Produce clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sections; synthesize technical and other ideas from existing content and input from subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Synthesize text and ideas from multiple authors; compile information for each section and edit language to ensure one voice.
  • Interview SMEs, consultants, product leads, and other resources to develop solution-relevant content.
  • Research technical or business topics as necessary to ensure complete and accurate content.
  • Manage multiple writing assignments and prioritize appropriately to meet strict deadlines.
  • Support ongoing maintenance of proposal knowledge center artifacts.
  • Leverage content management system to develop initial drafts of content.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Computer Science and at least 2 years of relatable experience OR 7 years of relatable relevant work experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of IT-focused business and management concepts.
  • Understanding of Clinical Health (Care Management, Case Management, Assessments and Behavioral Health).
  • Proven track record of attention to detail with the ability to grasp, communicate, and translate complex ideas into writing.
  • Experience with Health IT in Federal and State government.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve content.
  • Any training or certifications in proposal writing.

USD $70,000.00 - USD $90,100.00 /Yr.
