A leading fire and security company is seeking an
experienced Sprinkler Systems Designer
to join its team in the
Nashville, TN
area. This role offers an opportunity to work with industry experts and contribute to top-tier fire protection solutions.
Responsibilities: Prepare
project drawings, specifications, and schematics
for fire sprinkler system installations. Ensure
compliance with Federal, State, and local codes
in coordination with Project Managers and Sales. Design
sprinkler layouts
and apply
NFPA code knowledge
to projects. Collaborate professionally with
customers, vendors, and team members . Stay updated with industry advancements and safety regulations. Adhere to
company policies, procedures, and core values . Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements: 5+ years of CAD experience
in fire sprinkler design. NICET Level 3 or higher
in water-based systems. Strong understanding of
sprinkler systems and codes . Ability to
pass drug and background screenings . Excellent
written and verbal communication skills . Ability to meet
state licensing and vendor certification requirements . Proficiency in
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint .
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with
HydraCAD, Hydracalc, or Hydralist . Knowledge of
REVIT and X-REFs .
Physical Demands: Ability to
sit for extended periods
and use standard office equipment. Must perform
repetitive motions
while using a computer. Regularly required to
talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, use hands, and reach .
