Job Description As a valued member of our pharmacy team, you will work closely with pharmacists and other technicians to evaluate infusion medication requests and facilitate the prior authorization process. This role requires strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to provide safe and efficient care to patients through timely completion of prior authorizations and follow-through on assigned tasks. You will be accountable for assigned work metrics and committed to optimizing medication access for patients. Previous experience with completion of prior authorizations is preferred.
This position requires working on-site; no remote work option is available.
Additional Job Requirements
Education: High School Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 2 years Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the State of South Carolina Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP), and national certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is required and must be maintained.
