Description

As Senior Manager UX Operations, you will be leading a small team covering both design and research operations. You will combine skills building and managing programs with a passion for user experience to help your team design healthcare products that are used to change behaviors, lower costs and improve lives. You'll establish the organization and programs that define how we work and the identity of our team. You will define milestones, assess risks, create actionable insights and ensure projects meet deadlines. You'll harmonize the work of UX Designers, Researchers, Content Designers, and other UX disciplines, while also working closely with our Product Manager, Engineering, Clinical, Legal, Finance and Regulatory cross-functional partners, to drive UX team objectives and create innovative experiences for our business, products and users.

In this role, you will be a strategic partner to our UX leadership. You will manage and establish new best practices in support of product, business and design goals. You will advocate for inclusion and diversity. You will manage, oversee and establish new best practices for documenting processes, training product teams, supporting the business units, and measuring results. You will plan and coordinate the UX team events and initiatives that drive quality and build culture.

Responsibilities Partner with UX leadership for strategic planning and resourcing activities, in order to define team priorities and drive effective decision-making (including but not limited to: requirements gathering, scheduling, resource allocation and launch approvals). Establish and drive new programs, structures and operations to deliver the highest level of trust-building and strategic counsel through all project interactions. Act as a representative for UX in cross-functional collaborations with Engineering, Product Management (PM), Clinical, Regulatory and Commercial teams, connecting groups and making sure interdependencies are understood and planned for. Identify team needs with regard to process, tools, documentation and asset management, driving cultural/behavioral changes to make sure UX teams are working at optimum efficiency. Architect systems for clear communication to cross-functional leaders and senior management. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS with 8+ years of managing and scaling UX programs and 2+ years of people management experience. Experience driving operational excellence and establishing user-centered processes and tools at the UX org level to improve velocity, productivity and quality of work. Proven ability to multitask, analyze processes, identify opportunities, and proactively solve problems. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with proven success working and aligning with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders such as product managers, researchers, legal and privacy. Preferred Qualifications

Have a deep understanding of the needs and dependencies of UX functions/discipline. Experience with the product development lifecycle (especially for healthcare products). Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive, transparent, collaborative culture. Experience managing risks (e.g. operational, product, team health).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $148,000 - $211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
