POSITION SUMMARY
Nordic Naturals is seeking a Director of Digital Marketing to lead our direct-to-consumer (DTC) and marketplace digital strategy. This role will drive online brand awareness, customer acquisition, engagement, retention, consumer lifetime value, and e-commerce growth across all digital channels, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in performance marketing across paid search (PPC/SEM), SEO,programmatic display, influencer partnerships, affiliate marketing, and Amazon/e-tail marketplaces (1P & 3P strategies). This role requires a strategic leader with technical proficiency in digital ad platforms, data-driven decision-making, and marketing attribution models to optimize and scale campaigns effectively. The Director will lead a high-performing team across Web/CRM, and Amazon/Marketplace marketing strategies, collaborating cross-functionally to drive revenue growth, maximize ROI, and enhance customer lifetime value.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Digital Growth • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across DTC and marketplace channels that achieves brand category media and growth goals. • Optimize the digital media mix, balancing performance marketing (PPC, SEM, programmatic, affiliate) with organic strategies (SEO, content, influencer, and email/sms/CRM marketing). • Lead data-driven digital initiatives, leveraging A/B testing, audience segmentation, and predictive analytics to enhance performance and efficiency. • Partner with internal stakeholders (Product, Creative, Sales, and Brand teams) to align digital strategies with business objectives and customer insights. • Continuously evaluate emerging digital trends, tools, and technologies to keep Nordic Naturals at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.
Performance Marketing & Optimization • Oversee digital marketing execution across categories, ensuring campaigns are optimized for traffic, engagement, conversion, and ROAS and are laddering up to overall corporate KPIs. • Leverage expertise in Google Ads, Meta, Amazon Advertising, and other paid media platforms to drive cost- efficient growth. • Own and optimize attribution modeling and performance tracking across platforms, ensuring data-driven decision-making. • Implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies and UX best practices to enhance website and e-commerce performance. • Forecast and consult on budgets across all digital channels, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
Amazon & Marketplace Growth • Lead Amazon (3P) and marketplace (1P/3P) marketing efforts, optimizing product visibility, advertising, and conversion strategies. • Develop strategies to improve organic ranking, enhance product pages, and drive revenue growth in key marketplaces. • Collaborate with e-commerce and sales teams to align pricing, promotions, and inventory planning with marketing strategies.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration • Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing specialists across web/CRM, and Amazon/marketplaces. • Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and performance, ensuring the team is empowered with the latest tools and insights. • Work closely with analytics, finance, and sales leadership to provide data-backed insights and business recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE • 7-10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on DTC e-commerce and marketplace growth. • Proven track record in PPC, SEO, programmatic display, and Amazon/e-tail marketing. • Expertise in Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Amazon Advertising, DSPs, and marketing automation platforms. • Strong analytical mindset with experience in GA4, attribution modeling, conversion tracking, and A/B testing. • Experience managing multi-million-dollar ad budgets with a focus on ROI and growth metrics. • Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and external agency partners. • Strong understanding of MarTech, CRM platforms, and digital customer journeys.
Pay, Benefits & Perks:
The estimated annual pay for this role is $155,000 to $175,000. This pay is an estimate and the exact compensation may vary depending on an applicant's location, skills, prior experience, professional qualifications, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may also include incentive compensation (i.e. bonus or commission) if applicable.
