Job Description
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling marketing pieces by designing and producing graphics and materials that effectively engage our company's target audiences in a variety of industries. As a part of our marketing team, the Graphic Designer collaborates closely with team members to define project goals, develop work that meets the company's quality standards, and deliver designs that strengthen our brand's position and value. This is a full-time position with remote, hybrid and on-site opportunities available.
Responsibilities Designing a variety of marketing pieces, including webinars, ad campaigns, brochures, sell sheets, web graphics, web pages, tradeshow and conference deliverables, and other content Creating information graphics that explain complex concepts in simple, visually interesting ways Researching and analyzing project-related information and translating that into finished designs that meet project requirements Create responsive web page designs that follow user-interface design principles Working on cross-functional, collaborative creative teams to develop a variety of projects that meet marketing objectives Requirements
Education and Experience: Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or related field OR; A minimum of 4 years of work experience in Graphic Design or related field Skills: Effectively implement typography into visual designs in an aesthetic way Create multiple, distinct concepts in order to explore a variety of viable solutions Quickly prototype design ideas through sketches, storyboards, mockups, and wireframes Understand complex and technical concepts Manage time well and be able to carry projects from start to finish Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Figma The ability to write clearly-worded, professional communications Additional Skills Not Required, But Are a Plus Marketing experience Videography and video editing experience Motion graphic design experience Familiarity with industrial automation SEO knowledge or experience
$70,000 - $80,000 a year
Pay
Based on the Sacramento region, the new hires target salary for this role is $70k - $80k. This role will be paid hourly.
Inductive Automation's ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Although it is not typical for an individual to start at the top end of the range for the position, compensation decisions are dependent on: the facts and circumstances of each case, work location, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs.
