As
Graphic Designer
you will be responsible for developing print collateral and digital design assets for use across web, social media, tradeshows, print and more. The ideal candidate is an expert with current design software, brings the ability to transform written and spoken concepts into visual form, can work within existing brand identity and guide it to the next level.
You will need to work independently as well as cooperatively with the rest of the Marketing and Creative team to meet deadlines as well as handle multiple simultaneous projects. This role will also include occasional unique and special projects will require an open and creative mind to handle these initiatives.
This position reports to the Senior Creative Manager.
This position requires onsite work at the Buffalo Grove, Illinois headquarters at minimum 4 days a week with 1 potential remote day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Digital Design: Including static social media content, website assets, and digital advertisements,
• Print Design: Including brochures, flyers, posters, product packaging, magazine advertisements, merchandise, and apparel.
• Video Support: Including video thumbnails, assisting the video team, and graphics and editing support.
• Product Design: Assist in the ideation, design and visualization of new products, accessories, software and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Sr. Creative Manager to develop the brand vision of HP Tuners, pushing the brand forward where possible.
• Ability to work autonomously on multiple simultaneous projects while still meeting required deadlines.
• Open to constructive criticism and make on-the-fly changes as directed.
• Attention to detail, ability to review own and others work.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's product portfolio and competing products.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
• 4+ years of graphic design experience (developing branding and creating marketing materials).
• A strong online portfolio reflecting that experience.
• Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite software with a focus on Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• 3D modeling and motion graphics experience are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to review own and others' work. Open to constructive criticism and willingness to collaborate and make changes on-the-fly while maintaining creative quality.
• Quickly learn and implement HP Tuners' brand identity.
• Excellent verbal and visual communication skills; adept at communicating and defending creative work.
• Strong time management skills. Ability to balance daily and long-term tasks, and multiple workstreams moving forward simultaneously.
• Thorough understanding of leading social media platforms and the nuances of their components.

• Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach, carry items from one area to another, ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
• During many trade events, shows, and customer visits ambient temperature may be uncomfortably hot or cold.

Compensation and Benefits
At HP Tuners LLC, we understand that compensation plays a key role when considering a new opportunity. We are dedicated to ensuring fair pay for all employees and continually work towards greater transparency in our compensation practices. The estimated base salary range for this position is
$70,000-$80,000 annually , with actual pay determined including factors such as location, skills, experience, and other relevant considerations. This position also qualifies for a discretionary bonus and a complete benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage, paid time off (PTO), and a 401(k) program with employer matching.
