Job Summary: The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing and elevating communications and marketing for lifestyle communities, as well as assisting with various client operations. This includes but is not limited to: marketing and communication of community events, editing monthly and weekly e-newsletters, sourcing social media posts, reviewing and editing monthly client reports, and assisting with other administrative tasks. The Marketing Coordinator will assist leadership in other miscellaneous tasks such as copy editing and spot-checking communications templates to ensure the proper brand standards are being followed.
This role is hourly, full-time and hybrid, and will require the ability to commute to the office in Sarasota, FL minimum 2 days per week.
The Marketing Coordinator has a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Marketing & Communications
- Support the VP Marketing in maintaining and creating all lifestyle communications templates for new and existing communities
- Act as support/coach for lifestyle department in terms of communications tutorials, how-to’s, and hosting communications ‘study halls’
- Support the VP Marketing in the management of communications schedules and content/communications deadlines
- Edit resident communications included but not limited to monthly e-newsletters, weekly updates, etc. and work with lifestyle department to ensure they are delivered by content deadlines
- Work with Lifestyle Directors, Regional Lifestyle Directors, and VP Marketing to edit and approve monthly client reports
- Supply the VP Marketing with unique and compelling social media content (2 post/community/week)
- Routinely assess communications templates to ensure they are following community brand standards, grammatically correct, accurate content, etc.
- Serve as second round copy (grammar) and brand (aesthetic) editor for all lifestyle communications
- Monitor all community mobile apps for correct information
- Assist lifestyle department in maintaining files with communications assets
- Update and print select lifestyle marketing collateral on a monthly basis as assigned by VP Marketing
- Assist the VP Marketing with other duties as assigned
- Collect updates from all parties to update monthly builder/sales team presentations
- Work with the VP Marketing to maintain Developer Update folders organized and up to date
- Assist VP Marketing with misc. administrative tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design, marketing, or advertising
- Highly detail oriented
- Graphic design and digital marketing experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Excellent computer literacy
- An eye for design, aesthetic, and ability to follow brand standards
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Exceptional work ethic and ability to lead others
- Ability to multitask with high-level organizational skills
- Graphic design, marketing, advertising, event planning or hospitality background a plus
- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Outlook, Google Suite required
Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid-role with some in office time
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass to a background and drug screen
