Job Description
The Marketing & Communications Lead for IFS Energy & Resources (E&R) will play a key role in driving measurable business growth through strategic marketing and communications initiatives. This position is responsible for creating, supporting, and executing impactful programs and content that further reinforce IFS as an industry leader in upstream oil and gas software and as the pioneer of Industrial AI.
The role will collaborate closely with IFS business development, sales, and marketing leadership to generate leads, strengthen thought leadership, and achieve marketing, communications, and business objectives.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
Marketing Campaigns & Lead Generation
- Design, implement, and manage integrated marketing programs and campaigns that generate leads and support incremental new business growth.
- Align efforts with business development, sales, and marketing leaders to achieve measurable pipeline growth.
- Partner with business development, sales, and marketing leaders to create and manage product rollouts, demos, and enhancements to drive incremental sales growth.
Content Creation & Thought Leadership
- Develop and manage engaging, high-quality content to position IFS as the industry leader in upstream oil and gas software.
- Oversee the creation of diverse content formats, including video, blogs, podcasts, social media, webinars, customer stories, and white papers for external communication, and content such as newsletters and videos for internal communication with IFS colleagues globally.
- Promote IFS expertise in asset and service-heavy industries and advance the positioning of IFS.ai as the industrial AI leader.
Strategic Support
- Support IFS' overall marketing and communications objectives for 2025, including establishing IFS as the category leader in industrial software and showcasing its role in driving sustainable outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to highlight IFS' role in powering the next industrial revolution through industrial AI.
Social Media, Events, & Program Execution
- Partner with the IFS E&R marketing team to create, post, and measure social media content performance.
- Execute events and programs such as tradeshows, webinars, and product demos to drive leads and increase sales.
- Collaborate with E&R leaders to ensure events and demos align with product rollouts and enhancements to maximize sales impact.
Media & Communications Counsel
- Provide media training, presentation coaching, and strategic communications counsel to IFS E&R subject matter experts to ensure consistency and excellence in public engagements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in Marketing Communications
